Strategic Go-to-Market Strategy & Business Growth Consulting
Developing a Go-to-Market Strategy for AuthHub to Accelerate Market Adoption
Developing a Go-to-Market Strategy for AuthHub to Accelerate Market Adoption
Overview
As part of a strategic consulting engagement with Fiserv during my MBA at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary consulting team to develop a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for AuthHub, Fiserv's authentication and identity management solution.
The objective was to evaluate the market opportunity, identify target customer segments, assess the competitive landscape, and develop actionable recommendations that would support product commercialization and business growth.
The Challenge
As digital payments and financial services continue to evolve, organizations require secure authentication solutions that balance security, regulatory compliance, and user experience.
Fiserv sought an objective assessment of AuthHub's market potential and required a structured strategy to support product adoption and long-term commercial success.
The engagement focused on addressing several strategic questions:
•Which industries and customer segments represented the greatest opportunity?
•How should AuthHub be positioned within an increasingly competitive market?
•What competitive advantages could be leveraged?
•What go-to-market approach would maximize customer adoption?
•How could Fiserv accelerate market penetration while creating sustainable growth?
The Solution
Working collaboratively with the consulting team, I helped develop a data-driven go-to-market strategy by conducting market research, evaluating customer needs, and analyzing the competitive environment.
Key contributions included:
•Conducting industry and market research to identify growth opportunities.
•Evaluating customer segments and developing target customer personas.
•Performing competitive analysis to understand market positioning.
•Assessing industry trends influencing authentication technologies.
•Supporting the development of product positioning and value propositions.
•Developing strategic recommendations for market entry and customer acquisition.
•Contributing to the final executive presentation delivered to Fiserv leadership.
The resulting strategy provided practical recommendations designed to improve market positioning and support commercial growth.
Business Impact
The consulting engagement provided Fiserv with structured, research-driven recommendations to support the commercialization of AuthHub.
Key outcomes included:
•Developed a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to AuthHub's target market.
•Identified high-potential customer segments and market opportunities.
•Delivered competitive intelligence to inform strategic positioning.
•Developed recommendations for customer acquisition and market expansion.
•Supported executive decision-making through research-based business insights.
•Presented strategic recommendations to Fiserv stakeholders as part of the consulting engagement.
Although implementation was outside the scope of the engagement, the project delivered a practical strategic roadmap designed to support future product adoption and business growth.
